The University of Chittagong, is one of the four fully autonomous universities in Bangladesh; one of the earliest established in 18 November 1966. It has the largest university campus in the country with picturesque natural beauty surrounded with 2100 acres of large hilly and flat land.

Since its establishment the University has produced many intellectuals, scholars, scientist, politicians, Nobel Laureate and national heroes. Its alumni hugely contributing in building and serving the country. Many of the alumni have been spreading the light of knowledge from this university throughout the world.

The alumni of the University of Chittagong (‘the University’) living the United Kingdom formed an association titled The Chittagong University Ex-Students Association UK (CUESA UK) in the year 1996 and operating its activities since inception on the basis of conscious of its members.

We the Members of The Chittagong University Ex-Students Association UK (CUESA UK) do hereby proclaim this constitution to promote and protect the cohesion and hormone; enhance socio-economic standard, skills, ethical, moral and development, of the Members and their family residents of the UK; protecting the rights of the human being, increase standard of life and to establish justice in the society at large. This constitution will be supreme law to govern the organization.
